PTSA Leadership Opportunities for 2019-20

If you’ve been thinking about getting involved with the Austin High PTSA, NOW is a great time to step up! We’re recruiting volunteers for the following:

Nominating Committee: These four important volunteers (three, plus one alternate) will evaluate and secure candidates for PTSA open officer positions for 2019-20. Nominating Committee members will be elected by our membership at the Wednesday, March 27 meeting. Submit your name or the name of anyone you think would be effective in this role by Monday, March 26, 2019, to Casie Wenmohs, PTSA Parliamentarian, at ckw@austin.rr.com, and we will follow up. If you would like more information, please also contact Casie.

PTSA Board: There are 13 PTSA officer positions on our AHS PTSA board. These include President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, 1st VP - Program Development, 2nd VP - Membership, 3rd VP - Volunteers, 4th VP - Ways & Means, 5th VP - Classical Studies, 6th VP - Communications, 7th VP - Global Studies, 8th VP - Design & Technology,  9th VP - Science & Innovation.

Anyone can request to put their name on the ballot for any of the board positions.  For questions about the roles of any of the board or committee positions, you may contact our current President, Elizabeth Kalbacher at eakalbacher@sbcglobal.net.
